History

In 1980, we began the process of transforming our business from a cutting machinery manufacturer specializing in the production of lathes, and shearers, to a textile machinery manufacturer, producing different varieties of carding machinery.

Thanks to our excellent machine quality, Spark’s reputation and following has steadily grown on the national textile industry, and soon after was followed by a step onto the international market. Transformation was complete in 1989, and Spark Textile Machinery Group Co., Ltd. was founded. The next year, we invested $10 million to establish Qingdao Spark Huashang Industry Co., Ltd., and since then, we have supplied advanced air jet looms and water jet looms for customers all over the world.
